Understanding labels

Understanding labels

Each item has a label with washing instructions.

Each item has a label with washing instructions.
Here are the symbols you may come across and what they mean:

The numbers inside the symbol indicate the maximum wash temperature allowed. They are expressed in degrees Celsius. If one or more bars complete the symbol, this means that special precautions must be taken.

The triangle refers to product whitening.

The presence of a circle in the square gives information about tumble drying. The number of dots indicates the temperature. If tumble-drying is prohibited, the garments should be dried naturally. The direction of the lines indicates whether the clothes should be dried flat or hung up.

The number of dots in the iron indicates the maximum temperature allowed. Using steam can cause irreversible damage to some textiles.

The symbols in the circle are mainly for professionals. The letters indicate the processes and products supported. If one or more bars complete the symbol, this means that special precautions must be taken.

Special features

Special features

Material Polyester Microfresh

  • Do not wash at temperatures above 30°C.
  • Do not wash light colours with dark colours.

  • Do not iron.

  • Do not use a tumble dryer.

  • Clean as quickly as possible as soon as any stains appear.

Cap

To be on the safe side, we recommend that you hand-wash the cap, taking the following precautions:

  • Fill a basin with cold water and add a little detergent.

  • Dip a cloth in the mixture and use it to gently soak all parts of the cap.
  • Scrub the cap with a brush. Take care of the visor gently.

  • Rinse the fabric with clean water.

  • Allow to dry, respecting the preformed shape of the visor.

Machine washing is still possible, although we don't recommend it as a first step. We suggest you follow the advice below:

  • Wash the cap in similar colours.

  • Do not put the visor in a machine that is overloaded so that the weight does not distort the visor.
  • Do not use a tumble dryer.

  • If the cap is really dirty, rub it with Marseille soap before putting it in the washing machine.

Customised Products

These precautions apply to items that have been personalised with one or more transfers. Particular care must be taken with these ‘fragile’ products.

  • Look at the label to follow the care instructions for the product.
  • Do not exceed 30°C.

  • Turn the garment inside out before washing to protect the transfer.
  • Never iron over the transfer.
